Correction to the Money section above, which reported that no new funding call opened in the window. That was wrong. The Fondation des Sciences Sociales call on “Solitude et isolement” was published on 1 September 2026, inside that issue’s window. It closes on 7 November 2026 and it is carried in the issue for the week of 14 September.

Correction to the RECETAS item above. The issue reported the Barcelona trial as “254 with baseline plus follow-up”. The paper gives 320 randomised and 320 analysed in the intention-to-treat analysis. The 254 figure is wrong and the null result stands on the larger number, which makes it a stronger null than the issue implied. Flagged by the digest’s own checking, not by a reader.

Both of the things you asked about are in place now.
Members can report anything – a post on the feed, a comment, a discussion or a reply. The option is on each item’s menu. BuddyBoss ships reporting and it had simply never been switched on, so you were right that deleting was the only move available.
Reports go to the moderation desk at /moderation/, next to events waiting for review and registry claims, so there is one place to look rather than several. A report is recorded as somebody saying they think something is wrong, not as a decision. Hiding a post keeps it recoverable and keeps the record that it existed, which deleting does not. That is the step short of deletion you were asking for.
On the badges, you found a real problem. Pan-European and Knowledge Sharer were appearing as tickable boxes during profile creation, which meant anyone could award them to themselves. They are now set only by a moderator, and that is enforced when the profile saves rather than by hiding the boxes, so it holds wherever the form turns up. All five badges say what they are for now. Every profile was checked first: nobody had ticked one.
Also from your list: Events is linked in the left menu, and required fields are marked, so nobody else discovers that “I am a” is required by being refused.
Thank you for going through it properly.
